So I just downloaded the Kohls app for the first time ever and honestly I am so confused by it lol everything is so bright and there are coupons everywhere but I found this really pretty KitchenAid stand mixer in the color Aqua Sky that my sister absolutely needs for her bridal shower next month in Cleveland and its like $350 right now which is way over my $150 budget but I know Kohls always has these crazy sales and like Kohls cash stuff so I was hoping to wait for it to go down. I feel like such a noob asking this but I literally have no idea how technology works sometimes and I dont want to miss it if the price drops while I am at work or something. I put the item in my cart and I also hit this little heart button but I dont know if that actually does anything?
Like will the phone make a noise or send me one of those little banner things if it gets cheaper? I'm so worried itll go on sale for like an hour and I'll miss it because I wasnt staring at my screen. Everything in the app seems so busy with the rewards and the wallet thing and I'm just trying to make sure I get the best deal possible because I'm also helping pay for her catering and my budget is super tight this month. I've never really used store apps for anything other than just looking at stuff so this is all brand new to me and I'm kinda nervous I'm gonna mess it up or buy it and then see it cheaper the next day.
Is there a specific setting I need to turn on to get notifications for things on my wishlist or does the app just naturally tell you when things you've looked at go on sale? I just really want to get her this gift shes wanted it for years and I want to be the best maid of honor ever but I need the price to move a lot before I can afford it. Does the Kohl's app notify you of price drops?
bump
catching up on this thread now and i gotta say... the app isnt great for specific item alerts. ive been pretty happy with how it works for rewards though, just dont expect a ping for that exact mixer. i have no complaints about the actual savings, but the tech is just kinda basic. i usually just check manually or use a price tracker site. if you want that mixer, just get any of the classic models from KitchenAid, you really cant go wrong with that brand. to make sure you get the best deal:
Honestly, the app is a total maze and I wouldnt trust it to notify you for a price drop on that KitchenAid. I've missed sales before thinking it would ping me... it usually just sends random promos instead.
