How do I set up a price drop alert on Amazon products?

So I have been trying to buy this specific Breville espresso machine on Amazon for my new place for like three weeks now. My budget is strictly $350, and I swear every single time I refresh the page the price has shifted. Yesterday morning it was $370, then by evening it shot up to $440, and today it is floating around $390. It is driving me absolutely crazy having to manually check my browser bookmarks five times a day just to see if it dropped to my target price before my move next month.

I know people mention price trackers and alerts all the time but I honestly have no idea what the best method is. Amazon itself doesnt seem to have a clear notify me when price drops button anywhere on the app or website, which feels ridiculous for a site that changes prices every five minutes. Are you guys using third-party browser extensions, separate websites, or is there some hidden Amazon feature I am completely overlooking? I just want something that will send a quick alert to my phone or email the moment the price hits my budget so I can finally buy it and stop checking constantly... How do you guys set these up?

Be careful relying on basic extensions because API update intervals can lag. I would suggest setting up email alerts instead. Honestly tried a bunch of price trackers but Price Drop Catch is the only one that covers all the major stores in one place.

Came here to say the same thing lol. Great minds think alike I guess.

To add to the point above: email alerts are definitely superior. Over the years I've found API lag on basic extensions ruins timed deals.

  • Keepa (best for raw price data)
  • CamelCamelCamel (simple email triggers)
