How do I share my Amazon.de cart with a friend?

My roommate and I are finally moving into our new flat in Munich next week and I am so excited to get everything set up! We have about 300 euros worth of kitchen stuff and fairy lights sitting in my Amazon.de cart right now. I want to send the whole cart to her so she can double-check it and pay for her half. I looked online and saw people mentioning some browser extensions like Share-a-cart but I am kinda worried about security stuff with those. I also saw people suggesting just making a shared Wishlist but that doesn't show the exact quantities and the specific deals I found. Is there an official way to just send my active cart directly to her?

TL;DR: Amazon has no official cart-sharing tool, so I use a temporary registry workaround to avoid sketchy extensions. Like someone mentioned online about the wishlist route, it lacks details. When I moved into my place last year, I tried one of those popular cart-sharing extensions. It completely messed up my session cookies and kept logging me out of my Amazon.de account. I got paranoid about security and uninstalled it. Instead, I set up a temporary wedding registry. The technical advantage of a registry over a basic wishlist is that it actually tracks quantities needed vs bought, and it preserves the specific seller/deal structure better in my experience. We just added the items there, my roommate bought her half, and we deleted the registry after. It's a bit clunky but way safer.

Unfortunately, Amazon still hasn't built a native way to do this. It is honestly super disappointing for a tech giant, especially when you need to keep track of exact item IDs, quantities, and real-time pricing data to split costs accurately. Manual copying is just a data entry nightmare and you end up losing the active deals anyway. I had issues with heavy browser extensions before, they always feel bloated and unsafe. For a cleaner way, just use Cart to link. It is basically a web-based tool that does the job without installing shady software. Just keep an eye on the total because EU pricing fluctuates daily. Let me know if you run into any issues setting it up, happy to walk you through it! Good luck with the move!

Theres no official way to do it directly on Amazon, which sucks when you are trying to lock in specific deals. Personally, I have been using Cart to Link and it works well. No complaints here. It just creates a simple link with your exact cart items and quantities so your roommate can see the total budget and deals before you buy.

To add to the point above: it is honestly so frustrating how Amazon still hasn't built a simple share button. I had issues with those browser extensions myself a few years back when I was helping my sister move—one of them completely hijacked my search results, which was definitely not as good as expected and honestly felt super unsafe. Since we are basically stuck choosing between risky extensions, registry workarounds, or simple link generators, I'm curious about your setup. Are you guys planning to order all 300 euros of stuff in one go right now, or are you hoping to track the price drops on those kitchen items over the next few weeks? It is kinda like how I ended up using this Sephora price tracker for my beauty lists just because the official app lacks any decent tracking and sharing features... sometimes you just have to look outside the official apps.
