Can I share my Amazon UK shopping cart directly without creating a wishlist?

OMG my sisters 30th birthday is coming up in three weeks and I am so excited to host this surprise retro themed party for her in London! Ive spent the last four hours digging through Amazon UK finding the absolute perfect decorations, neon lights, and weird 90s candy. I currently have about 37 items sitting in my shopping cart ready to go but I need my husband to look over it and pay since he has the joint card.

The problem is I really dont want to go through the annoying process of creating a wishlist and moving every single item over one by one, it takes forever. Plus some of the stuff is limited stock and I worry moving them to a list might make me lose them.

I did some googling and saw people mentioning browser extensions like Share-A-Cart, but some reviews say it doesnt work well with the UK site or it scrambles the quantities. I also read somewhere that the Amazon mobile app has a share cart button but I literally cannot find it anywhere on my app.

Is there any quick way to just send a link of my active Amazon UK cart directly to someone else so they can just check out? Or am I stuck doing the wishlist thing...

To add to the point above: I've actually used a couple of different workarounds for Amazon UK when planning events because the native app definitely doesn't have a direct share cart button anymore, they removed it a while back which is super annoying. When I was coordinating a charity drive last year with about 40 items, I ran into the same issue. I tried a few methods to see what actually works without messing up quantities.

  • The Share-A-Cart extension: It actually does work on Amazon.co.uk, but you have to make sure you use the specific Share-a-Cart for Amazon version, not the generic one. It generates a simple code the other person inputs on the site.
  • Shopping Cart Transfer extensions: There is another Chrome extension called Cart Share for Amazon which is free and basically copies the ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers) to a clipboard so you can just paste them.
  • The Save for Later trick: If you do end up needing to move them, you can select Save for later on all of them, which keeps them in a separate pool at the bottom of your cart. It is faster than making a wishlist because it is a one-click button right inside the cart page. Honestly, the extension route is the fastest if your husband is on a desktop. Just make sure he is logged into his own Amazon UK account before he clicks the generated link, or it can glitch out and empty the cart. Let me know if you need help setting up any of these!

I totally agree that transferring 37 items to a wishlist is an absolute nightmare! I was in the exact same boat last month planning a family party and was so worried about losing my cart. I ended up trying the Share-A-Cart extension on Amazon UK and it was amazing! I am always super cautious about online security, but this felt totally safe:

  • It doesnt ask for your Amazon password at all
  • The code generated instantly without any weird glitching
  • It sent all the correct quantities straight to my husbands browser You should definitely try it, it is a total lifesaver!
