How do I share my whole Amazon DE shopping cart with a friend without sending 20 separate links? Im trying to split a 200€ dorm supply order with my roommate in Munich before move-in on Monday. Amazon seriously lacks a share cart option and manually copying links is driving me insane. Does any browser extension actually work for this?

OMG cart sharing on Amazon DE is such a pain! Here are two options I love using:

  • Wish List feature: super easy and totally free, just move cart items to a public list and share one link!
  • Cart Share browser extension: amazing tool that generates a quick code, but both of you need the add-on installed. The Wish List route is totally free and saved me so much hassle when moving!

Like someone mentioned, Wish Lists are free, but here is the practical hack I use to save money on shipping for split orders on Amazon DE:

  • Create a shared Wish List named for your move-in order and move all cart items there.
  • Make sure to check Prime eligibility on items together so you dont get hit with individual delivery fees under 39 EUR on Amazon DE.
  • Have one person place the whole order to hit the free shipping threshold easily, then split the bill using Paypal or Revolut. In my experience ordering dorm stuff over the years, split payments on one account saves you both money on delivery fees compared to two separate smaller orders. Just double check prices before checking out since Amazon DE prices change daily.

In my experience dealing with Amazon Germany orders over the years, the built-in cart sharing is nonexistent. I've tried many browser extensions for this exact issue when ordering supplies, and the one that actually works reliably for Amazon DE is Share-a-Cart for Amazon. Here is how to get it done:

  • Install the Share-a-Cart extension on Chrome or Firefox
  • Open your Amazon.de cart with all 20 items loaded
  • Click the extension icon to generate a unique cart code
  • Send that code to your roommate so they can import the exact cart in one click Takes about 30 seconds total. Just make sure you both have amazon.de open so pricing and Munich delivery stock stay accurate.

@Reply #3 - good point! Honestly cart sharing on amazon de is such a headache tbh. In my experience dealing with amazon orders over the years, people overcomplicate this way too much.

  • just google it tbh
  • theres a great youtube video about this exact issue
  • check reddit too I've tried many methods over the years and honestly just searching for a quick tutorial saves so much time. You'll find a video that shows the exact steps in like two minutes.
