Honestly this is driving me crazy why is this so hard. I have about 22 items in my Amazon cart right now for our nursery setup (baby is due in like three weeks so I'm on a major time crunch here) and I just want my husband to look over them and pay using his business card because of the tax write-off.
So I was thinking there has to be a simple share button right? My logic was that Amazon wants our money so they would make sharing a cart super easy. But no. I googled it and saw people recommending this chrome extension called Share-a-cart but I looked at the permissions and it wants to read all my data on amazon and that feels super sketchy to me. Then I saw another post saying to just make a public wishlist and move everything there. But that means I have to click into every single one of the 22 items, add them to a list, delete them from my cart, and then have him add them back to his cart. That is going to take forever and I just dont have the patience for it right now.
Is there actually a built-in way to do this that I am missing or do we seriously still have to share passwords or manually copy paste 20+ links?
Regarding what #1 said about "Yeah, Amazon makes this way harder than it..."
Ugh, I ran into this exact headache last year when we were buying home office gear for tax write-offs. Unfortunately, Amazon's sharing tools are just not as good as expected and we had major issues with duplicate orders because we kept losing track of who added what. It is so frustrating. To figure out the easiest workaround for you guys, I have a couple questions:
Ok adding this to my list of things to try. Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, Amazon makes this way harder than it needs to be. Over the years I've tried basically every workaround for this. Here is how they stack up:
