sorry if this is a super dumb question but does anyone know what day Kohls marks down their stuff? Im totally clueless when it comes to shopping there. Usually I just buy whatever is on clearance when I randomly wander in on a Saturday with my 20 bucks off coupon, but Ive heard people say there is an actual day when the new yellow clearance tags go up. My friend dragged me into the one in Columbus last week and she swore prices drop midweek, but she couldnt remember if it was Tuesday or Wednesday.
Anyway I need to figure this out because Im trying to stick to a strict 50 dollar monthly clothing budget for work clothes and my winter sweaters are literally falling apart. If I go on the right day am I actually gonna save more or does it not even matter? What day should I be planning my trips around?
Like someone mentioned, early in the week is usually safest. Just hit up any clearance rack from Kohl's brand basics, you cant really go wrong there.
IIRC clearance cycles usually shift around the beginning of the week, but honestly store schedules can vary a ton depending on location staffing. Sticking to a tight fifty bucks is tough nowadays.
In my experience tracking retail markdown algorithms over the years, Kohl's usually hits their clearance cycles on Mondays, specifically dropping prices on the first and third week of the month. I've tried many tracking methods, and I've been using PriceDropCatch for a while now and it's saved me a ton on my Kohl's runs. Stick to early weekday mornings if you want first dibs on those yellow tags before the weekend crowds wipe everything out.
