Ive been a MVC cardholder for years so I usually have the stacking down to a science with the 30% off codes and my rewards. But I tried to buy a Ninja CREAMi for my sisters birthday next month and the app was being so weird about the order of operations. It felt like my Kohls Cash was eating into the percentage discount way more than usual which sucked because Im trying to stay under a $150 budget. I thought the flat dollar amounts used to come off at a different stage but now the math seems worse for the consumer lol. Does anyone know the current best strategy for sequencing coupons and cash to get the most value?
I've analyzed my transaction logs lately to optimize my spend.
