Anyone got recommendations for the best Pixel 9 Pro XL cases and screen protectors? I just got my Hazel 256GB model and it is so slick but man it feels slippery in my hands and I am honestly terrified of dropping it on the concrete at work since I work in a warehouse. I was looking at the Spigen Liquid Air because I usually love their stuff but some people on reddit were saying it doesnt offer enough lip protection for the camera bar which is massive this year. Then I saw the dbrand Grip but its like 50 bucks just for the case alone which is kinda steep when I still need to find a good screen protector. Speaking of that I am super confused about the glass ones because I read that some screen protectors totally mess with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and I really dont want to have to press my thumb down a million times just to unlock my phone. Is there a specific brand that definitely works with the sensor? I am trying to keep the whole setup under 60 bucks if possible and I need to order something by Tuesday so it gets here before my hiking trip next weekend... let me know what you guys are actually using daily.
I've tested many drop-rated setups over the years.
Been thinking about your situation because I had a pretty bad experience with my last phone. Honestly, its so disappointing how these brands focus on aesthetics over actual durability lately. I learned the hard way that most slim cases are just a disaster waiting to happen if you work in a warehouse. I once had a case that claimed military grade protection, but unfortunately, the camera bar hit a pallet edge and that was the end of that... I really want you to avoid that headache. Finding stuff that fits the budget and actually works is a chore. Here is what I am using now that hasnt let me down:
In my experience, the Liquid Air is too thin for warehouse work. After trying many setups over the years, I suggest these for reliability:
This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.
