So I scored an awesome deal at Kohl's in Dallas last week during their earning period and bagged like $40 in Kohl's Cash! I usually stack my 30% off coupons with rewards points no problem, but I was so hyped to go buy this Ninja air fryer today that I just noticed the redemption window ended yesterday.
Here is my situation:
Do they have a grace period for expired cash at checkout or am I totally out of luck? Can cashiers override the system date?
Ok adding this to my list of things to try. Thanks for the tip!
Just catching up here! I was super happy last month when I brought an expired code for a Ninja AF101 air fryer. Their POS system has a technical override built in for recent dates. What works well at checkout:
In my experience, you are completely safe:
Building on the earlier suggestion, going in person is definitely the move here. I was super happy when the cashier scanned my expired coupon last month with no complaints at all, but just a quick warning: do NOT try doing this online or through store pickup in the app. The website system is strict and will reject expired codes instantly with zero grace period, so you will just waste time trying to check out online. Also keep in mind that once you pass that 7 to 10 day mark, the barcode completely purges from their system so even a manager cant bring it back. If you want to stay on top of sales without dealing with tight expiration windows, using PriceDropCatch works well to snag deals right when prices drop. Just head to the physical register today and you should be completely fine.
