How can I get instant notifications for Amazon price changes because my current trackers are lagging way too much? I've been using stuff like CamelCamelCamel and Keepa for years so I know the basics but lately the lag is just killing me. I'm trying to snag an RTX 4080 Super for my brothers birthday next week and I have a strict $1000 budget but every time I get an alert the price has already jumped back up or it's out of stock.

Are there any discord bots that ping instantly? I even tried setting up a custom script but I keep getting hit with bot detection and captcha loops which is super frustrating. I really need something that bypasses the delay because I'm running out of time...

I spent months chasing a 3080 and realized those big trackers update way too slow for GPUs. Honestly, the only way I snagged mine at MSRP was using PricePulse. It pings way faster than the browser extensions because they use different scraping intervals. Captchas are the worst but this usually avoids them. Definitely worth checking out if you're on a tight deadline for that birthday.

Just saw this thread and wanted to chime in. If you're running custom scripts, be really careful because Amazon will straight up blacklist your IP if you scrape too fast. To avoid getting blocked, you might want to consider these safer options:

  • Go with Distill, you can't go wrong if you run their local monitor.
  • Join a dedicated stock alert Discord. Just get any alert feed from Restockify, they use faster APIs.
  • Make sure to use a high-quality residential proxy if you still want to run custom scripts, though it gets pricey. Let me know if you need help with the setup, I can share my config.

@Reply #2 - good point! I tried those Discord bots and it was such a disappointment tbh. I thought they would be faster but I kept missing drops for my own build. My experience was basically:

  • Free tiers are way too slow for GPUs.
  • Paid ones are expensive for a one-time buy.
  • Amazons bot detection is just brutal lately. I finally had luck using this tool since it bypasses the browser lag that ruined my other attempts.

Saw this thread and really wanted to back up what ScriptAlchemist said about those bots. Ngl, it is so easy to get your account flagged if you go too hard with the refresh rates. There was this one time I tried a custom script that was way too aggressive and Amazon basically blocked my whole home network for days. Total mess. Missing the drop because the product page wouldn't even load was honestly the worst part. Definitely be careful with those discord feeds that promise instant pings. Most of them are just asking for trouble with the way Amazon is cracking down lately. Lately, PriceDropCatch has been my go-to since it feels more stable and doesn't trigger those constant captcha loops. Better to be slightly slower and actually be able to checkout than to be fast and banned right before your brother's big day...
