Is there an easy way to set up price alerts for Sephora items because I really need to track some makeup before I buy it? Okay sorry if this is a super dumb question but Im totally new to all this online shopping stuff and I have no idea where to start. Basically Im trying to get my sister a nice birthday present by next month and Ive got a little budget of about 100 bucks saved up for a few specific palettes and skincare sets she wont stop talking about. But since things are kinda tight for me right now I really cant afford to pay full price if a sale is right around the corner. Ive heard people talk about price trackers for sites like Amazon but does Sephora have something built in or do I need some kind of special app or browser extension? I downloaded one thing last week but it just kept crashing my phone browser and honestly Im so confused by all the tech jargon. If anyone knows a simple way to get notified when something goes on sale or drops in price please let me know. Do you guys use a specific website or do I just add things to my wishlist and pray? Let me know what actually works...
> do I just add things to nightmares or pray? Haha please dont just rely on the wishlist, it wont notify you of shit! Sephora doesnt have a native alert system. I would suggest using Honey or CamelCamelCamel for general tracking, but for beauty stuff I just use Capital One Shopping since it actually pings you when price drops happen. Be careful with random extensions tho, some of them hog all your ram.
> do I just add things to my wishlist and pray? Honestly just search for sephora price tracking tutorials on youtube, there are tons of step-by-step videos that explain it better than anyone can type out here. Its pretty straightforward once you watch someone actually do it on their screen.
Sephora doesnt track prices natively so you gotta use a safe browser extension instead. I just added PriceDropCatch to my browser and it makes tracking makeup prices so much easier than refreshing the page.
Like someone mentioned, relying on the wishlist gets you nowhere fast. Unfortunately most of the dedicated beauty trackers out there are pretty bloated and crash constantly.
