I am so excited because Im planning my sons birthday party for next month and I found this amazing Lego set on Walmart! Its 80 dollars right now which is a bit steep for my budget but I really want to get it for him. I heard people get notifications when prices go down but honestly I have no idea where to start with this and Im terrible with technology.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do I set up Walmart price drop alerts?

> Walmart doesn't have built-in alerts that actually work Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually disagree slightly as I've been highly satisfied using this Chrome extension which has tracked Walmart price drops for me with zero complaints. To help you set this up, are you hoping to track this Lego set on a mobile phone or a desktop computer? Also, do you prefer email alerts or browser notifications?

TL;DR: Walmart doesn't have built-in alerts that actually work, so you need to use a free tracker app like Honey or Capital One Shopping to watch the price. Honestly, it is super disappointing that Walmart still doesn't let us track price drops directly. I've had so many issues trying to use their watchlist feature in the past and it's just not as good as expected. The notifications basically never show up. Since you mentioned you're not great with tech, my recommendation is to download the Honey app or use their browser extension. You just find the Lego set on Walmart through their portal and hit the button to add it to your Droplist. They'll email you the second the price drops. Let me know if you get stuck setting it up, I can totally walk you through it!

Late to the party but I had this exact issue last Christmas trying to buy a Lego Star Wars set. Walmarts site is unfortunately useless for alerts. I ended up using Brickseek instead, which is free for basic alerts. You just paste the Walmart URL or item ID into their search bar. It saved me about twenty bucks on that set. Just be ready to buy fast when you get the email, since Lego deals sell out quickly.
