Is there a reliable browser extension to track Best Buy price history? Sorry if this is a super dumb question I literally have no idea where to start with browser extensions haha. Im super excited because Im finally upgrading my living room and trying to buy a 65 inch TV for my place in Austin before next weekend! My budget is around $600 max. But the prices on Best Buy keep changing literally every single day and I cant tell whats actually a good deal. I know Amazon has camelcamelcamel but does something like that exist that works really well for Best Buy? Really dont wanna buy it today and see it $100 cheaper on Friday...

In my experience analyzing retail price feeds over the years, browser extensions struggle with Best Buy's DOM layout. Honey has decent price history graphs though, which saved me $150 on my last display.

Building on the earlier suggestion about watching those price graphs, you really gotta be careful buying right before the weekend. Last year I was tracking a 65 inch display for my setup, watching it like a hawk trying to stay under budget. Bought it Thursday night thinking I was being smart, but literally walking out to my car the price dropped. Ended up stuck in a massive customer service line for two hours trying to get a price match while my buddy sat outside in the Texas heat with a huge TV box sticking out of his truck... total nightmare scenario.

Honestly, most Best Buy trackers were disappointing when I tried buying my TV.

  • use this extension for price history
  • set alerts before Friday Unfortunately, their dynamic pricing is super annoying.
