Does Amazon have a built-in feature to automatically alert me when an item drops in price, or do I need to pick between third-party options like CamelCamelCamel and Keepa? Im trying to grab an LG monitor under $250 before my new remote job starts Friday. Which tool sends alerts the fastest so I dont miss a deal?

Amazon actually has a built-in feature through their mobile app, but it can be really slow to send alerts, so relying on it by Friday might be risky. If you want to stay safe while tracking that LG monitor, here are a few practical steps I would suggest:

  • Turn on Amazon app alerts: Make sure to add the monitor to your Wish List or Save for Later list in the official app, then turn on push notifications for deals in your settings. It is completely safe, but keep in mind alerts can lag by a few hours.
  • Be careful with browser extensions: Many price tracking tools ask for permissions to read all your web data. I am always cautious about security, so I prefer simple email alert sites instead of installing extra software on my browser.
  • Try a clean web tracker: I personally use Price Drop Catch whenever I need to monitor deals. You just paste the product link and set your target price under $250, and it emails you without needing sensitive permissions.
  • Watch out for fake third-party sellers: When a big price drop happens, make sure to double check who is fulfilling the order. I recommend only buying if it says Ships from Amazon or is sold directly by LG so you don't run into return hassles. Hope this helps you grab the monitor in time! Let me know if you need any help setting things up.

> Which tool sends alerts the fastest so I dont miss a deal? Saw this earlier and wanted to share my setup. I have tracked hardware prices for years, and while Keepa is solid, Honey (PayPal Honey) is another reliable option. My personal workflow relies on Honey Drop List alongside Keepa. You simply save the LG monitor, set your alert price to $250, and pick your target timeframe. Last year when I needed a secondary display, Honey triggered a mobile push notification within minutes of a price drop, allowing me to grab it before stock ran out. I am very satisfied with running both services at once. Having redundant alerts gives you the best chance of catching a deal before Friday.

TLDR: Amazon has basic wishlist alerts, but Keepa is way faster for instant price drops. I have used Keepa for years to catch monitor sales and it works really well, zero complaints here. Just set your $250 target price on Keepa and enable Telegram or browser notifications. They hit almost instantly when prices dip. Good luck with the new remote job! Feel free to ask if you need help configuring the tracker.
