So my husband and I are trying to organize a camping trip to the Lake District for next weekend, and we have a bunch of gear we need to buy like a new stove, sleeping pads, and some water filters. I have about 15 items sitting in my Amazon UK shopping cart on my iPhone, and I want him to look over them and add his own stuff before we buy everything.
I did some googling and saw people recommending a browser extension called Share-a-Cart, but that doesn't help us because we both do 90% of our shopping on our phones using the actual Amazon app, not safari or chrome. I also read something about using the Manage Your Household feature, but it looks like that only shares Prime benefits and payment methods, not the actual active shopping cart. I really don't want to manually copy-paste 15 product links into WhatsApp if I can avoid it.
Is there any way to actually share my live Amazon UK cart directly through the mobile app, or is making a shared wish list the only workaround?
I completely agree that the shared wish list is the only reliable way to handle this on the mobile app right now. My partner and I use this method for all our camping trips and we have been highly satisfied with how it works. The one small trick that makes this setup work so well is that once you both finish adding items to the shared list, you can actually move the entire list to your cart with a single tap. It saves so much time compared to adding things one by one. We have had no complaints using this workaround for our gear lists, so I definitely recommend just setting up that shared list. It is much easier than messing with links.
Re: "I completely agree that the shared wish list..."
Re: "Re: "I completely agree that the shared wish..." - " Yeah, lists are honestly the safest way to go so you dont end up accidentally double-ordering stuff. We do this for all our gear and it works well, no complaints. Plus, a practical tip is that Amazon actually flags price drops directly on the shared list, which is super handy for keeping trip costs down.
