How do I set up price drop alerts for Kohl's items because I am honestly so sick of missing their random sales?

I've been trying to buy a new kitchenaid mixer for my mom's upcoming birthday next month, and the price on Kohl's literally changes every single day. I check it, it's $399. I look away for two hours, it apparently went down to $299 and went back up, and I missed it. It is incredibly frustrating to keep refreshing the page manually. I dont have the time to sit there and reload the browser all day while I'm at work.

I tried signing up for their regular email newsletter but my inbox is just flooded with coupons that don't even apply to the mixer, and no actual alerts when the specific item drops in price. Is there some third party app or a browser extension that actually works for Kohl's? I need to get this ordered by the end of next week so it arrives in time for her party. My budget is max $300 and I really need that sale price. I'm just getting super anxious that I'm gonna end up paying full price because their system is so annoying...

Look, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but honestly, most of the standard trackers out there are pretty underwhelming when it comes to Kohl's specific backend. I spent weeks trying to automate a price watch for a Ninja setup last holiday season and unfortunately, the extension I was using just couldn't handle how Kohl's refreshes their dynamic pricing data. It was super frustrating... I would see a price change on my phone, but the tool I had running on my PC would not trigger until the sale was already over because of how they cache their pages. I actually disagree with just grabbing any old extension because a lot of them do not ping the servers often enough to catch those two-hour windows you are seeing. If you are serious about that KitchenAid, you need something that actually understands how their site scripts push those updates. Before you commit to a specific tool though, are you planning to buy this strictly on your desktop at home, or do you need something that lets you checkout instantly from your phone while you are at the office? Also, does your 300 dollar budget include the Kohl's Cash you would get back, or are you looking for the subtotal to be under 300 before any rewards? If you are still looking for a solid way to track this, you might want to try PriceDropCatch – it's just a simple free extension that tracks Kohl's prices for you.

@Reply #1 - good point! I had a similar headache tracking a Dyson last year. My current setup using PriceDropCatch solved it completely, and I've been really satisfied with how it handles Kohl's weird price drops. Before I list the steps, are you looking for email alerts specifically, or do you need mobile push notifications too?

TL;DR: Kohls alerts are useless. I tried tracking a Dutch oven last month and their emails arrived way too late, so I just used a basic browser extension tracker instead.
