So my sister and I are finally planning a baby shower for our cousin in Toronto next month! We have a $200 budget for decorations and I found the perfect stuff on Amazon.ca. I am so excited to show her what I picked out but I am completely stuck.

Sorry if this is a super basic question but I have no idea how to send my actual shopping cart to her. I dont see any share button or anything on the screen. Is there an easy way to do this so she can see the items and we can buy them?

I usually stick to native Amazon features for security. The safest option is just creating a shared Wish List directly on Amazon.ca. No third-party extensions needed. Here is how to do it:

  • Create a new List and set access to Shared.
  • Add the baby shower items to it.
  • Share the link with your sister. It is free, secure, and keeps your login info safe.

I use a free browser extension called Share-A-Cart for this. Works perfectly for Amazon.ca and I have zero complaints. Here is how to do it:

  • Install the Share-A-Cart extension
  • Open your cart and click the extension to get a code
  • Send that code to your sister She just enters it on their site and the items load instantly. Really happy with how simple it is.

Ugh, I ran into this exact same headache last year when planning my best friends bachelorette party. Unfortunately, Amazon still doesn't have a simple share button for shopping carts, which is super annoying. At first, I tried creating a shared Wish List. But honestly, it was not as good as expected. Half the decoration items didn't sync right, and my friend couldn't easily move them to her cart to buy. Such a hassle. Eventually, I started using Cart to link instead. It just copies your whole cart into one shareable link. It works so much better than the native list feature, though you do have to use their site to generate it. Still, it saved us so much time.
