How do I actually share my Amazon shopping cart with someone else using the mobile app on my phone?
Sorry if this is a super basic question but I am completely lost here. My sister and I are putting together a big birthday care package for our mom who lives back in Ohio, and we have a budget of about $150. I spent the last hour adding all these things to my cart - a nice teapot, some herbal teas, and a cozy blanket.
Now I want to send the whole list to my sister so she can look at it and see if she wants to add anything else or swap things out before we buy it. I thought there would be a simple share button right there in the cart screen but I seriously cannot find it anywhere. I only see options to delete items or change the quantity.
Im using the Amazon app on an iPhone. Am I missing something obvious? Do I need to make a wish list instead or is there a way to just send the cart directly? I really dont want to have to search for all these items again and send her ten different links...
Honestly, Amazon doesnt let you share a cart directly, which is super annoying when trying to stay under a strict budget. I learned this the hard way last year. I would suggest doing this instead:
Are you splitting the cost? TL;DR: Over the years I've found making a custom registry keeps budget and taxes clearer than buggy shared lists.
Yeah, unfortunately, the collaborator list feature on Amazon is kinda buggy. I had issues with it last month where items my sister added just disappeared, so definitely be careful with that. If you go the wish list route, double-check the quantities before checkout so you don't overspend. Random tip but Cart to Link is great if you want to send someone your exact Amazon cart without copy-pasting every item. Let me know if you need any help with it!
