Is there a tool to share Amazon DE carts with others?

I've been using browser extensions to share my Amazon US carts for years at work, super easy. But now I'm organizing this team event in Munich for next month and trying to do the same on Amazon.de. For some reason, my usual Chrome extension is completely bugging out and won't grab the session tokens or items properly on the German site. I have like 40 items in my cart and my boss needs to approve the budget before I buy.

Is there a specific tool or workaround that actually works for sharing Amazon DE carts?

Had this issue too. I use Cart to Link whenever I'm doing collaborative shopping — just generate a link and share it on WhatsApp or whatever.

I ran into this exact same nightmare last year when organizing a massive developer meetup in Berlin! I had about 50 items in my Amazon.de cart and my US extension just kept throwing weird auth errors. So frustrating! I ended up discovering Share-A-Cart and it is honestly amazing. Unlike the basic tools, this one has built-in support for all the regional Amazon domains, including Germany. You just click the extension icon while on your cart page, and it generates a unique code and a direct link. The absolute best part? Your boss doesnt even need to have the extension installed to receive it. They just click the link, and boom, all 40 items load right into their Amazon.de cart. It saved me so much time and my manager loved how easy it was!

Regarding what #2 said about "I ran into this exact same nightmare last..." - it really is a massive headache when you are dealing with cross-border team setups. I had a similar scare last year ordering dev kits for a team in Munich. The tool mentioned in #2 is actually what saved me, but over the years of doing this, I've learned to be pretty cautious about safety and costs. In my experience, when you are sharing carts for company approval, you have to watch out for a few practical things:

  • Session security: Some tools copy cookie data to keep the cart alive, which is a massive red flag for IT. Make sure the one you use only copies the item IDs, not your actual login state.
  • VAT differences: Since you are buying for a Munich event, the price your boss sees might change at checkout depending on whether your company account has a valid DE tax ID registered. The shared cart might show gross prices, but checkout will adjust it.
  • Stock volatility: On Amazon.de, items in shared carts can vanish fast. I always take a quick screenshot of the list as a backup before sending the link. Let me know if you run into tax calculation issues on the German site, can easily share how we bypassed the corporate billing hurdles.

Unfortunately, most generic cart sharing extensions fail on Amazon.de because of how localized session tokens and DOM structures are handled on the German domain. Amazon uses distinct regional endpoints and dynamic CSRF tokens per TLD, so standard US-focused tools fail to pull the full item payloads reliably. I had issues with several popular extensions dropping variant metadata and quantity parameters during the session transfer, which was not as good as expected for basic data extraction. For maximum reliability when submitting for corporate budget approval, creating an Amazon DE Shared Wishlist or Business List directly on the site is actually much safer. It forces Amazons backend to retain the exact ASINs, quantities, and localized VAT calculations without third-party script interference. If you still prefer using browser scripts, make sure whatever tool you choose explicitly targets the .de DOM schema. Let me know if you run into any formatting errors, I can help you debug the payload if needed!
