Is there any actual way to just convert my full Amazon Canada shopping cart into a shareable gift list without having to manually search and add all 40+ items one by one?
Im losing my mind here because im super excited about moving into my new condo in Toronto next weekend, but Amazon is driving me absolutely insane right now. I spent literally three hours last night picking out all these specific kitchen essentials, towels, a nice coffee maker, and some decor stuff that I really need. Everything is currently sitting in my Amazon.ca cart, total comes out to like $1,400.
My family and friends keep texting me asking for a housewarming registry or gift list so they can buy us stuff, which is amazing and Im so grateful! But when I went to share my cart, I realized there is no obvious share button? I tried looking everywhere in the app and on desktop. I know you can make a Wishlist, but I stupidly added everything directly to my cart while browsing instead of saving to a list first because I was on a roll.
Tell me I dont have to click into every single item, move it to saved for later, or re-add them individually to a custom list... please tell me there is a shortcut or a button im missing. It feels like such a basic feature to just be able to click send cart as gift list or move cart to wishlist.
If Amazon Canada doesnt let you do this directly, is there some third party tool or browser extension that actually works for Amazon ca? I really need to get this link sent out by tonight before people start buying random stuff we dont need haha. Anyone know a workaround for this or am I stuck doing this the painful way?
Building on the earlier suggestion, I went through this exact mess last year when moving. I had like 30 items piled in my cart and zero patience to click through them all manually. Honestly I was pretty paranoid about using sketchy browser extensions because a lot of them ask for weird permissions, and I really didnt want my account getting messed up. I ended up using a safe web-based converter that grabbed the cart items cleanly without needing any login access or personal data. No complaints at all, I was super satisfied with how smoothly it worked and it saved me hours. Technically speaking Amazon ca treats cart data completely separate from registry databases, so alternative converters are pretty much the only fast route. Anyway, for anyone shopping with friends or doing a gift list, Cart to Link is worth trying.
> Tell me I dont have to click into every single item, move it to saved for later, or re-add them individually to a custom list... Unfortunately Amazon still hasn't built a direct cart-to-wishlist button which drives everyone crazy, but you aren't totally stuck doing it one by one. I had the exact same headache when I moved into my place last year. Honestly, just go with any universal registry browser extension like MyRegistry. You just install the extension, hit the button while looking at your cart, and it pulls the items into a clean shareable list instantly. I was super satisfied with how easy it was to send out to family, zero complaints. Takes like two minutes and saves you from clicking 40 times!
> paranoid about using sketchy browser extensions Building on the earlier suggestion, in my experience avoid tools asking for full account permissions. I use Cart to Link since it works safely without credential access.
